This till signs itself out after 10 minutes without activity, with a warning first. That is fixed and cannot be turned off — a shop screen sits in a public room. Nothing is ever lost by signing out.

How StockFlow works

This keeps track of what a product cost you coming in, and what it earned going out. Four things and you are running.

  1. Add what you sell

Give it a name and a category, then enter what it costs you and what you charge. That is the whole setup for one product.

  2. Record stock coming in

On the product row, open Actions → Receive stock. Enter how many arrived and what you paid this time — supplier prices move, and every delivery keeps its own.

  3. Record each sale

Actions → Record sale, with the quantity and the price you actually sold at. Discounts included — that is the point.

  4. Read the difference

The chart at the top of the dashboard shows every product twice: what it cost coming in, and what it fetched going out. The gap between the two dots is your margin.

Nothing is ever overwritten. Each movement is a permanent ledger entry, so last month's profit cannot quietly change when you edit a price today. Actions → View ledger shows a product's full history.
More than one shop? Switch between them with the button in the header. Each keeps its own stock and figures, and everything syncs to every device you sign in on — including while you are offline.
